Ethics Daily ran my latest article yesterday, which is entitled "Conservative Christian Leaders Plot to Replace Obama." It details a recent meeting of about 40 Christian leaders in Dallas, which has many echoes of a similar meeting thirty years ago to strategize against then-President Jimmy Carter and start to lay the groundwork for Ronald Reagan's victory. It appears that these leaders are hoping to make history repeat itself. Building on the article, Robert Parham had a column yesterday talking about this meeting. Due to the high-profile leaders who attended the Dallas meeting and the success of the effort thirty years ago, the article has already attracted a lot of attention from bloggers interested in religion and politics.
