San Francisco

Spent the last few days in San Francisco for the annual gathering of the National Communication Association. It was a good time to do some sightseeing, as well as visit with family members and former professors and colleagues that I had not seen in awhile. I presented three papers during the convention:
A new law: The covenant speech of Barbara Jordan.

Putting God back in the Jeremiad: The Two Futures Project and the argument for nuclear abolition.

Words must mean something: Barack Obama's rhetoric and the Nobel Peace Prize.
Also got to visit with some of the people from the publisher of my forthcoming book (which they had listed for presale at the conference).
