Dear Tony Perkins

Ethics Daily ran my latest column today, which is entitled “A Letter to Tony Perkins.” It is a very satirical “letter” written in response to the “Liberty Sunday” rally held this past Sunday. Just as with the three “Justice Sunday” rallies that Perkins and his Family Research Council hosted, this rally featured exaggerations, mistruths, and a misplaced focus. To best point out the absurd rhetoric of the event, I wrote the tongue-in-cheek piece where I act like I am praising Perkins and the event while really pointing out problems with it.
