Legendary newsman Walter Cronkite has died. I wrote the entry on Cronkite in the Encyclopedia of Political Communication. Even though his tenure was before my news watching days, he's the only person I've ever heard get the title of "most trusted man in America." Now I'm wondering who is the new most trusted person. Or can no one fill his shoes?
