Mainstream Baptist Breakfast

This morning before today's sessions of the Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant, I attended the Mainstream Baptist Network Breakfast. I wrote the article about the breakfast for the Celebration's website. It is entitled "Mainstream Baptists hear Shurden, honor Lolley." Baptist historian Buddy Shurden spoke and did an excellent job talking about why the Celebration is so important and significant. He offered four reasons: origin, nature, composition, and purpose. Bruce Prescott at the Mainstream Baptist blog captured the audio that you can listen to here. It was a very good breakfast (and the food was pretty good as well!).
