Making a Killing

The Save Darfur Coalition has created a very powerful ad (you can watch it below) that is targeting investment companies that have holdings in companies doing business in Sudan. These investments are blamed for helping the government, which supports the Janjaweed militia that is responsible for the murders and rapes. In two Ethics Daily articles (here and here) I uncovered that GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention is heavily invested in companies doing business in Sudan. Thus, despite passing resolutions condemning the genocide, Southern Baptists may be unintentionally helping it continue.
