If you watch "The Colbert Report," you likely saw a hilarious interview last week with Congressman Lynn Westmoreland. The congressman has sponsored a resolution supporting the public display of the Ten Commandments. However, when Colbert asked him to name the Ten Commandments, Westmoreland struggled around before only coming up with three!
Perhaps it is time to spend less time and energy attempting to codify the Ten Commandments and instead try to learn and live them. They will always do more good hidden in our hearts than publicly displayed.
