Sick Preacher

Here is a story about a very sick man who has been revered as a "pastor" for decades: Sex charges cast pall on Bishop Paulk. Earl Paulk has apparently seduced numerous women in the church, often using his religious influence and position to tell them that this was what God wanted. Even after allegations kept coming out every few years many people kept on supporting him.

It is so sad to see all the lives that have been wrecked by this man. Christians must be better about not blindly supporting a preacher when accused of sexual or other impropriety. The charges may not always be correct but some Christians seem to act like their pastor can do no wrong. We must return to faith built solely around Jesus and not any pastor.
