It is good to see even older religious leaders willing to embrace the potential of the Internet and other technologies: LifeWay leader sees technology as tool for evangelism. Outgoing LifeWay President Jimmy Draper, who is 70, has been blogging and talks about the evangelism potential of new technologies. He urges churches to use these resources even more. He states:
"In many ways, we are just hitting the tip of the iceberg in relation to what we can accomplish with the Internet and technology."
"Now, more than ever, Christians must become proficient at using technology, remembering all the while that it offers us another avenue for communicating the gospel message."
Amen! Hopefully more and more churches and religious leaders will continue to find ways to communicate the Good News online and with other technologies.
