Here is a photo I took a few months ago of the memorial to John Watts in the cemetery at Trinity Church in New York City. He served in both the New York State Assembly and the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1790s. His statue stands out as the most prominent at Trinity. For someone at the intersection of religion and politics, perhaps it is appropriate that he is green!
