Ethics Daily ran my latest article yesterday, which is entitled "Southern Baptist Official Calls Obama 'a Playboy'" It covers inaccurate and exaggerated comments used by Richard Land, head of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, to attack President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
UPDATE [7-26-11]: Randall Balmer, an author and professor of American religious history, has an Ethics Daily column calling on SBC leaders to speak out against Land's comments.
This article makes me wonder how much of Land's lifestyle is funded by my tithe.
