World Water Day

World Water Day
Today is World Water Day. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon used the occasion to call on people to "reaffirm our commitment to ending the plight of the more than 800 million people who, in a world of plenty, still do not have the safe drinking water or sanitation they need for a life in dignity and good health." He added:
Without water there is no dignity and no escape from poverty.
Fortunately, there are many organizations working to overcome this problem. One of them that is doing excellent work is Living Water. Check them out and help make a difference. You can also follow them on Twitter and join the cause on Facebook.
