Egypt Panel

The Daily News-Record in Harrisonburg ran an article today about a panel I was on yesterday at James Madison University about the protests in Egypt an elsewhere. My comments centered on democratic implications, especially the positive role of Facebook and Twitter and the problems of the U.S. government's rhetoric. The piece highlights those arguments that I made and noted one of the images I pointed people to consider--one of Christian protesters linking arms to form a circle to protect Muslim protesters who were praying (see it here). It is a powerful image and I am glad the reporter highlighted it.
