Last night, I attended a screening of the documentary Countdown to Zero at Eastern Mennonite University. Following the film, panelists discussed the issues of loose nukes and interfaith relations. The photo is of Richard Cizik, a longtime evangelical political activist, introducing the film. Joining Cizik on the panel were Christians and Muslims, including Aziz Mekouar (Morocco's Ambassador to the U.S.) and Sayyid Syeed (of the Islamic Society of North America). The film (and the panel) makes a strong argument for nuclear abolition.
