Next Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant

Ethics Daily reported today that planning is underway for the second national Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant gathering, which will occur next year. Although it had been announced shortly after the first event in 2008 that the next gathering would be in 2011, it is good to see that plans are moving along. ChurchNet Executive Director Jim Hill was among those involved at the meeting. I served on the communication committee for the first Celebration and covered it for the news pool (see articles here, here, and here, and photos here). I also covered for Ethics Daily two of the four regional New Baptist Covenant events, those held in Kansas City (see articles here, here, here, here, and here, and photos here) and Norman, Oklahoma (see articles here and here). Next year promises to be another important step for this movement.
