Well, summer is coming to a close. It was nice having a summer off and a new area of the country to explore. We enjoyed hiking the mountains and visiting some of the important sites. Here is a shot from Harpers Ferry. It is of the Catholic Church that survived the Civil War--unlike much of the town--because they did not take sides but instead flew the British flag.
