There's a Word for It

Rodney Clapp has a fun piece in The Christian Century entitled "There's a word for it." He notes that many new words, or neologisms, are created by joining two existing words. He then offers several terms he thinks help describe religious issues or trends. Some of them are pretty good, such as egocessory prayer, pewburn, bulletinnitus, hysterlector, and baptism by ire. He offers short definitions for each of these and several others.
