It covers breaking news that just came out today from the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention. I'm a bit surprised to learn that SWBTS still has profs who are members of Broadway.
Perhaps Paige Patterson and the SWBTS administration aren't entirely the dictatorial, fundamentalists brutes they're usually portrayed as?
Thanks! I was also surprised by several items I learned while working on this story. The church leaders have spoken highly of Patterson for how he has acted during this case. The church has also taken the high ground by working so hard to preserve an affiliation that most probably don't care about but so that they can help their members who are professors.
