In April, the Baptist Border Crossing will be held in the Kansas City area as the second of the regional meetings inspired by last year's Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant. One of the main speakers will be Baptist World Alliance President David Coffey. The BGCM Message recently carried a profile of Coffey that covers his background and the news that Ethics Daily named him the Baptist of the Year for 2008.
