Underreported

The latest issue of Time magazine has a bunch of top ten lists for 2008. One list is of the "Top 10 Underreported News Stories." Coming in at number 6 is the news that "Southern Baptists decide against pedophilia database." Although it got some media attention, the journalists at Time think it should have received even more. Southern Baptists are probably lucky the story did not get more attention. Hopefully, next year the news about Southern Baptists--and other Christian groups--will be that they took action to stop predators in their churches.
