Here are two thought-provoking books I have read fairly recently:
Lord, Save Us From Your Followers is a hilarious look at how Christians act and talk in ways that can sadly drive people away from God. It should make all of us pause and consider the impact of our lives on those around us so that we can become the best ambassadors for Christ as possible.
Blessed Are the Cynical explores the impact of theology on our lives. The author argues that the loss of a belief in the sinfulness of people has led to numerous problems in our society, including in the areas of the economy, politics, and family. It should make us think about the importance of what we believe.
