Ethics Daily ran my latest column today, which is entitled "Baptist Seminary President Attacks Green-Letter Bible." It reports on some comments by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, about a new Bible that just came out. The Bible is environmentally friendly (printed on recycled paper with soy-based ink and has a cotton/linen cover) and highlights passages about creation and the environment in green letters, much as many Bibles highlight the words of Jesus in red letters.
