My sister got married this past weekend, and I performed the ceremony. It was a very busy weekend, but everything went very well. Here is the new couple at the reception. You might not notice everything about the cake, but it has uneven layers. She designed it as well as many other items for the day (including having helped design the church’s sanctuary several months earlier). Hopefully they will have many happy years together.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, they are a pretty good couple--and seem to be a good fit. It was a cool cake, which is why I pointed it out. I agree with you that it is a unique privilege to officiate the wedding of one's sister.
