My latest column came out today in the BGCM E-Message, the free monthly email newsletter of the Baptist General Convention of Missouri. It is entitled “A Loaf of Baptist Bread” and deals with the important historic Baptist beliefs of local church autonomy and the priesthood of the believer. Although many groups calling themselves “Baptist” do not seem to believe in these principles, “whole Baptist” groups still cherish them.
