Naming War

On NPR's All Things Considered yesterday there was an interesting segment about what to call the recent Middle East conflict. It offers some of the proposed names by both sides. It will be interesting to see what will finally be the accepted name since many of those being used now carry a particular ideological tilt.

Below the link to listen to the segment is a link for another interesting recent piece on whether or not the metaphor of "war on terror" should be used any longer. Just a couple of items that remind us of the power and importance of words.
