The Blog of Daniel has once again taken Dean Paul Zahl of the Trinity Episcopal School of Ministry to task for inappropriate remarks about fellow Christians (for the earlier statement, see my previous post). Zahl compares those he disagrees with in the church to Hitler's Nazi party as he calls them an "army of Brown Shirts."
Such rhetoric is completely unacceptable and should not be used in Christian debates. No matter how much we disagree with people, they have done nothing to be compared with Hitler's killers. If this is how we treat each other why would the world want to join us?
