The Catholic Communication Campaign of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, which develops media and public relations resources, has developed a website to respond to The Da Vinci Code: Jesus Decoded. The site offers guides for people wanting to discuss the book and movie with people, and a number of items explaining Catholic theology (especially those misrepresented in the story).
Kudos to the CCC! The website offers some detailed information and could help lead to dialogue about the book and movie. Rather than simply complaining or protesting the movie, the CCC is attempting to engage the issues. This may lead not only to more dialogue but also for more ways to communicate their beliefs.
