Media Matters has documented several false claims by Bill O'Reilly about the supposed "war" on Christmas. He falsely claimed that the U.S. Postal Service was no longer offering "spiritual" postal stamps. Yet they are still offering the "Madonna and Child" stamp—I have some. He also falsely claimed that a school district in Texas "told students they couldn't wear red and green because they were Christmas colors." Finally, they note that O'Reilly falsely claimed that a town in Michigan "opposes red and green clothing on anyone."
It seems that there is not a very strong case to argue that there is a "war" on Christmas when much of the claims turn out to be false (shouldn't lying be considered against the Christmas—and Christian—spirit?).
