Friday demonstrated how far from the real reason for the season the world has drifted. Christmas is now merely a business endeavor. Unfortunately, it seems even Christians get caught up in this. It seems that as we give in to the commercialization of Christmas we prove we have no ability to reason what the season is about any more. Did Jesus really come to earth that first Christmas so we could buy a Jesus bobble-head or some other trinket?
