Lightning Strikes?

There was a pretty funny moment during last night's Republican presidential primary debate. Rudy, who is Catholic and pro-choice, began to answer a question about how he had been recently attacked by a Catholic bishop on the issue of abortion. However, Rudy's microphone started having problems and Wolf Blitzer suggested it was from lightning that was part of the storm going on at the time. Rudy joked about that possibly being a sign from God and other candidates joined in by moving away from Rudy. But even that was not enough to get Rudy to change his position. Of course, if God really did strike candidates with lightning because of their beliefs, would there be anyone left running for president?
