BWA Meeting

Today I participated in part of the Baptist World Alliance Executive Committee meeting in Falls Church, Virginia. I am part of the Communications Advisory Committee and enjoyed the opportunity to hear updates on the ministries of the BWA as well as participate in planning future efforts. It was also a great time to meet people from around the world and learn about their work. In particular, it was fascinating to talk with Bonny Resu (pictured here), the General Secretary of the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation, as we discussed similar trends and difficulties in church communication here in the U.S. and in Asian and Pacific nations. I am glad that Churchnet continues to strongly support the vital ministries of the BWA.
