Shut Up Ringtone |
| Monday, November 26, 2007 |
| Recently, the King of Spain told Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez to "shut up." During a summit, Chavez was interrupting King Juan Carlos. As a result, Carlos pointedly asked Chavez, "Why don't you shut up?" Now, it turns out that his question has become a popular ringtone in Spain. It seems like it would be kind of ironic to hear "why don't you shut up?" when someone calls you! It has also become a popular slogan on T-shirts in Venezuela (which seems like a pretty brave thing to wear). If it was not in Spanish, I might be tempted to get that ringtone for myself! |
