| In a shocking story, it seems that the Church of England (for all the denominationally illiterate they are also known worldwide as Anglicans or in the U.S. as Episcopalians) has apparently endorsed the idea of killing severely disabled babies at birth. I am nearly speechless at this news (nothing makes me entirely speechless—that’s why I blog). Many are understandably shocked. This message could drive away from the church many disabled people and their families. Hopefully, this is a mistake that will soon be corrected. |
